PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sealing effects between high-temperature exhaust portions and low-temperature intake portions, absorb steps due to temperature differences with a simple structure, reduce the number of parts, and prevent a heat damage by hot heat from exhaust ports, in manifold gaskets for use in counterflow engines with a plurality of intake ports and a plurality of exhaust ports arranged on the same side. SOLUTION: The manifold gasket 21 is so constructed that an intake-side gasket 27 for interposition between intake ports and an intake manifold comprises a rubber-coated metal plate 29 having half beads 32 located to encircle the intake ports and connections 30 formed beyond the interposal coupling region, and an exhaust-side gasket 28 for interposition between exhaust ports and an exhaust manifold comprises four elastic metal plates 33 having half beads 35 situated to encircle the exhaust ports and connections 36 formed beyond the interposal coupling region, both which intake-side and exhaust-side gaskets 27 and 28 are coupled integrally by their connections 30 and 36.
