PURPOSE:To improve compression performance, by a method wherein the shape of a forming part at the tooth tip of a male rotor, serving to form the outboard tooth shape of a female rotor tooth, is formed such that the curvature of radius of the tooth tip is decreased and the curvature of radius is continuously increased toward a tooth root. CONSTITUTION:A male rotor tooth 1a is formed with parts represented by functions f(x)-k(x), and a rotor tooth 2a is formed with parts represented by functions F(x)-K(x). The function g(x) part is a part formed with the function G(x) part being the forming part of the male rotor tooth 1a. The curvature of radius of the shape of the G(x) part is decreased, and the curvature of radium is continuously increased toward a tooth root part. This constitution enables improvement of the length of a seal line and sealing ability. |
