PURPOSE:To obtain a plasminogen activator having high thrombo-plastinogen activity and low side effect in high yield, by bringing a normal diploid cell derived from human into contact with a solution containing both animal meat enzyme decomposing peptone and lipid. CONSTITUTION:A cell (preferably cell derived from human lung or foreskin) which is a normal diploid cell derived from human and capable of forming a plasminogen activator is cultivated in a medium containing 1-40g based on 1l medium of animal meat decomposing peptone or 5-30g based on 1l medium of plant derived peptone and 0.01-100mg based on 1l medium of lipid (e.g. phospholipid or glycolipid) at 25-40 deg.C, preferably 31-37 deg.C at pH 6.0-8.0, preferably pH 7.0-7.4 to give a plasminogen activator. The activator is usable for preventing thrombus formation of artificial blood vessel, artificial organ, etc., and diagnosing thrombosis, etc., besides a thrombolytic drug. |
