PURPOSE:To prevent wear of the ball and the retainer, by a method wherein a contact part between a retainer and a ball is positioned in parallel to the end plate of a revolving scroll and forms 2 points or more in positions situated approximately symmetrically about a plane extending through the center of the ball. CONSTITUTION:Balls 15a-15x are contained in holes 20a-20x of a retainer 20 for supporting a revolving scroll 5. Each of contact parts 20a'-20x' between the balls 15a-15x and the holes 20a-20x of the retainer 20 is extended in parallel to the end plate of the revolving scroll 5 and forms 2 points in positions situated approximately symmetrically about a plane extending through approximately the center of each of the balls 15a-15x. This constitution causes dispersion of a contact load and enables prevention of wear of the retainer and the ball. |
