A hearing aid with an electronic amplifier section (3), an electrical voltage source (7) and a switch (9) for electrically disconnecting or connecting amplifier section (3) and voltage source (7). The switch (9) is arranged at the hearing aid in such a manner that it automatically connects the amplifier section (3) to the voltage source (7) in the state of use but automatically disconnects it in the state of non-use. The invention provides that the switch (9) is of a type which responds to a change of state, eg. temperature change, as switching criterion and that the part of the switch (9) triggering the switching process is arranged on one wall of (10) of a device section (1) which is subject to such a change in state in the state of use of the hearing aid (Figure 2). <IMAGE>
