PURPOSE:To obtain a pneumatic tire having improved resistance to abrasion and local abrasion, by using a tread made of a rubber composition consisting of a rubber composed mainly of isoprene chain, a resin composed mainly of propylene and carbon black. CONSTITUTION:The tread of the objective pneumatic tire is made of a rubber composition consisting of (A) >=50pts.wt. of a rubber containing >=70wt% isoprene, (B) 1-15pts. of a resin containing >=5%, preferably >=10% rubber component containing 80-95% propylene, having a crystal melting point of polypropylene segment of >=155 deg.C by DSC method and a melt flow rate of preferably 5-40g/10min, composed of propylene block and ethylene block and containing propylene and ethylene at random and (C) >=2.5pts. (based on 1pt. of the component B) of carbon black having an iodine adsorption of 70-300mg/g and DBP oil-absorption of 100-200ml/100g. |
