摘要 The device for guiding aircraft, especially during landing at airports, has at least one laser. The wavelength of the laser beams is in the visible band. Said laser beams bound a three-dimensional light curtain with the runway, the laser beams running, for example, along a section from the outer surface of a cylinder, and the section from the outer surface being provided by the intersection of the cylinder with the runway, and the axis of the cylinder and the runway enclosing an acute angle with the approach direction of the aircraft. The vertices of the cross-sections of the three-dimensional light curtain run vertically above the centreline of the runway. The edges of the runway and of the taxiway have marking bars with a coating which fluoresces or phosphoresces when illuminated with ultraviolet light, while the aircraft have ultraviolet illuminating lamps. Road vehicles are guided along a predetermined path, that is to say on the road, in accordance with the same principle, in that the path has markings on its sides and/or the centreline of the path consisting of material which fluoresces or phosphoresces when illuminated with ultraviolet light, and the vehicles have ultraviolet illuminating lamps.
