摘要 PURPOSE:To adjust a basic air-fuel ratio in a short time by providing a control gain time coversion means to increase the control gain time of the control signal of air-fuel ratio feedback control more than normal time when the adjustment time of an idling adjustment device is detected. CONSTITUTION:When an engine is in operation, if it is in the area of feedback control zone or not is decided by an operation state detection circuit 28 in a control circuit 17. When the decision is YES, if it is in idling operation or not is decided. When decided in idling operation, if it is in basic air-fuel ratio adjustment time or not is decided. When decided in the adjustment time, a great control gain value 1a necessary for adjustment is set by a control gain value setting circuit 27 according to the signal of an adjustment time control gain value conversion circuit 29. In accordance with this control gain value 1a, integration is carried on by an integration circuit 26 considering if the air-fuel ratio is rich or lean. According to this integrated value, a drive pulse width of an idling fuel adjustment solenoid 15 is obtained in a pulse width setting circuit 31.
