PURPOSE:To automatically correct the die height that an integrated gap does not increase by comparing the die height detected by a detection means with the preset reference die height and controlling the number of strokes based on the deviation in the both. CONSTITUTION:An upper die 3 and lower die 4 are respectively fixed to a slide 1 and bolster 2 and a displacement sensor 5 is provided at the end part of the dies 3, 4. A sensor 5 detects the distance (l) of the dies 3, 4 and adds a detection signal to a lower dead center detector 6. The detector 6 detects a sliding lower dead center A based on each thickness known already of the dies 3, 4 and the distance (l), adding the detection signal to a comparator 7. On the other hand, the reference point A showing the sliding lower dead center at the reference die height set prior to the running of a press machine is shown in private on a reference point setter 8 and the signal thereof is added to the comparator 7, which finds the positional deviation of the both by comparing the point A and point A', adding the command signal on the number of strokes according to this deviation to a stroke number control device 9. |
