PURPOSE:To realize stepless adjustment of the width on one side of a flange by providing horizontal rolls for edging the flange to main spindles in such a manner that the roll gap can be freely adjusted and providing eccentric intermediate rolls fitted externally with web restraining rings onto said horizontal rolls in such a manner that said rolls can be turned and freely adjusted in the roll gap. CONSTITUTION:The edging rolls are constituted by fitting a pair of the right and left horizontal rolls 8 for shaping and forging the flange end parts 12a of a material 12 to be rolled onto the main spindles 7 of the rolls in such a manner that the roll gap can be freely adjusted. The eccentric intermediate ring rolls 9 are freely turnably mounted onto the outer periphery of the rolls 8; furthermore, the web restraining rolls 10 for guiding the material 12 to an adequate position and restraining the web are freely turnably mounted onto the outer periphery of said rolls. Eccentric ring position setting devices 11 rotate the rolls 9 around the rolls 8 and fix the same at the position meeting the rolling conditions so as to maintain the flange end parts 12a at the normal shape. The rolling of various sizes of the H-shape steel is thereby realized. |
