DEVICE FOR INSPECTION OF DISPLAY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the light from a back light unit from directing to the outside of the main body without putting out the back light unit when a display panel is attached to and detached from a chuck top. SOLUTION: The inspection stage to accept and carry the display panel to be inspected can be moved between the inspection part to inspect the display panel and the loading part to pass and accept the display panel. The stage has a chuck top to accept the display panel and a back light unit assembled in the chuck top to illuminate the display panel accepted by the chuck top with light from the back side of the panel. The device has a light shielding plate in the loading part to cut the light from the back light unit to the chuck top when the inspection stage is moved to the loading part.
