PURPOSE:To reliably arrange chip-type elements one by one by vertically piling them up in a square hole, inserting one of them into the square opening in a scraping-off plate which is horizontally moved together with the chip-type element, and dropping it into the opening of a bottom plate. CONSTITUTION:Chip-type elements 2 are vertically piled up in a magazine 3, and a dead weight is put on them. The lowest element 2a is placed on the upper surface of a guide plate 18, and the magazine 3 is stopped by means of a stopper 15. When a scraping-off plate 17 having a square opening 17' into which the element 2a is inserted is moved to an opening 18' of the guide plate 18, the element 2a drops into an opening 19' of a pallet 19. Allowing the scraping-off plate 17 to move in the direction of 45 deg. permits an extremely stable mounting. The constitution permits the elements to be once arranged on the pallet one by one and then to be arranged on a substrate by the attraction of a vacuum. Therefore, two elements can be attracted at the same time. |
