PURPOSE:To continue a recording mode while confirming that the record signal is accurately recorded by using a sound recording head, a reproduction head, a delay circuit and a signal comparator which compares the signal reproduced by the reproduction head with the signal delayed by the delay circuit. CONSTITUTION:The sound recorded signal is reproduced by a reproduction head 3 set at the downstream side of the tape driving direction as soon as it is recorded by a sound record head 2. Then the signal amplified by a sound recording maplifier 4 is sent to the head 2 as well as to a delay circuit 6. The signal reproduced by the head 3 and amplified by a reproduction amplifier 5 is supplied to a signal comparator 7 together with the signal supplied through the circuit 6. If the signal is recorded correctly on a tape 1, a signal of logic ''O'' is obtained at an output terminal 9. While a signal of logic ''1'' is obtained at the terminal 9 if the signal is not recorded correctly. In case a record error is detected from the result of the comparator 7, the operation of a recorder is discontinued by the output signal. |
