Compd. of formular (I) [R1=C1-8 alkyl or -(CH2)n-O-(CH2)nOR6; m,n each=1-4; R6=C1-6 alkyl; R2=H, C2-15 alkanoyl, C3-8-cycloalkyl - carbonyl, benzoyl or benzoyl ring substd. by NO2 or CH3O; R3=C1-15 alkyl, C3-8 cycloalkyl, phenyl or phenyl substd. by CH3 or CH3O; R4=H, C2-6 alkanoyl, chloroacethyl or benzoyl; R5=benzyl benzyl ring substd. by CH3 or CH3O, C1-6 alkenyl, C7-12 phenyalkenyl, phenylethyl or C1-15 alkyl or chloroacethyl is prepd. by pyrolysis of compd. of formular (II). (I) has selective 5-lipoxygenase path way inhibitory activity, useful in treatment of bronchonconstrictive and pulmonary disease.
