PURPOSE:To prevent cooked rice from sticking to a roller, by providing a number of spiral grooves on the surface of the roller for forming the rice into a given thickness and make possible to surely supply given quantity of plate- shaped cooked rice, by providing a cutter for dividing the rice into a constant quantity and length. CONSTITUTION:An upper roller 3 for cooked rice and lower roller 3' having a number of spiral grooves on the surface are provided on and under a conveyor 1 for the cooked rice which carries the rice from a hopper 7 to form the rice into a plate-shaped cooked rice having a given thickness, which is then divided into a given quantity of rice by a cutter 4 for cooked rice. The divided rice is carried to a rolling apparatus B for cooked rice wrapped with laver sheet by a subsidiary conveyer 2. As the result, the rice hardly adheres to the surface of the roller for forming the rice into a given thickness, because the roller has a number of spiral grooves on the surface of to lead to reduced contact face with the rice grains. Moreover, a given quantity of plate-shaped the rice can be surely supplied, because the plate-shaped rice is divided into a constant quantity and length by the cutter. |
