The disabling system has a rocker (2) located in a casing (1) with a bottom (11) parallel to the cover plate of the socket and provided with openings (11a-d) for the plug's pins (3,4) and the screws that fix the socket cover. The rocker can pivot about an axis and can slide against the action of a spring (30) inside the casing. Stops (24,25) are provided and at least one engages in an opening (16a,b) receiving a plug pin when the rocker is pivoted so that the rocker cannot slide. The rocker has slide faces (22,23) that cooperate with the rounded ends of the pins to slide the rocker when the latter has not been pivoted.
