Cards (4) are arranged on edge in a star-shaped pattern radiating from the central core (3) on the base (2) of a basket (1), and linked electrically by connectors in the form of semi-circular conductive rings held in upright grooves within the core (3). The connectors have an opening angle slightly greater than 180 deg. to facilitate fitting into the core, and carry peripheral resilient or inelastic tab contacts for the edge connectors on the cards which are plugged into them. Cooling air may be directed between the cards from openings (6) in the base. USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for processor, memory and interface cards, bus interconnections are shortened by arrangement with sockets which are easily inserted and retained in core.
