The foot comprises a water container (1), the upper edge of which has a flat, ring-shaped, inwardly directed, horizontal top surface (2) with a central aperture. The inner base (3) of the container has a fixation device (4) for the lowermost trunk part of a Christmas tree. A cylindrical part (5) is incorporated which at its lower end has a ring-shaped flange (6) locating against the horizontal upper surface of the water container, and horizontally displaceable relatively to it. An adjustment device (7) is attached to the horizontal upper surface for retention of the flange in the required position. This adjustment device comprises flaps extending upwards from the horizontal upper surface under which the flange is movable to different positions. Through these flaps are fitted screws (10) as stop devices. |
