PURPOSE:To permit perpendicular and smooth insertion of a cylindrical support into a coating liquid by forming the front end of at least the jig at the bottom end of jigs for hermetic sealing of both ends of the cylindrical support to a circular conical shape. CONSTITUTION:The front end of at least the lower jig 6 of the jigs 4, 6 for hermetic sealing of both ends of the cylindrical support 3 is formed to the circular conical shape. The support 3 is then immersed from the circular conical lower jig 6 first into a coating liquid 2 preliminarily filled into a coating device 1 and after the entire part of the support 3 is immersed, the support is pulled up and the coated film is dried. The cylindrical electrophotographic sensitive body is obtd. when the upper jig 4 and the lower jig 6 are removed. |
