PURPOSE:To improve image reproducibility and stability against circumstantial conditions by preparing a color developer composed of toner particles comprising a binder resin and >=2 kinds of specified pigments in an amount of 1-20wt.% dispersed into the binder resin and carrier particles of <=6 in specific gravity. CONSTITUTION:The toner particles of desired particle diameters are obtained by incorporating in the binder resin, >=2 kinds of the colorants selected from a pigment belonging to C.I.Pigment.Blue 15:3, a pigment belonging to C.I.Pigment.Red 57:1, and a pigment belonging to C.I.Pigment.Yellow-12 in an amount of 1-20wt.%, melting, and kneading them with a Banbury mixer or the like, and after cooling, pulverizing them with an air jet or the like and classifying them. The developer is prepared by mixing these toner particles and the carrier particles of <=6 in specific gravity. |
