PURPOSE:To perform stable direction detection resistant to staining due to oil by detecting output pulses from a permanent magnet rotor by using a direction detecting circuit composed of three NAND circuits and a D type FFs. CONSTITUTION:The direction detecting circuit consists of the NAND circuits 36-38 and DFF 39. This FF 39 latches a signal at the D input terminal when its CK input terminal rises from L to H and outputs a latch signal to Q. Namely, it outputs latches the signal A when the two inputs of the circuit 38 change from H and H to L and H or H and L. The two inputs of the circuits 38 are switched like this when a signal A rises from L to H while a signal B is at L or when the signal B rises from L to H while the signal A is at L, and the FF 39 latches H in the former case or L in the latter case. Then an output amplifier 41 connected to the output terminal of the FF 39 converters this latch signal into a signal with a low noise level and supplies it to a connector 26. |
