PURPOSE:To permit quick removal of a connector and body and to eliminate the need for a tool, etc., by providing a magnetically attractable metal to the optical element part of the body and incorporating a magnet to the optical connector part. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting element 9 and a light receiving element 11 as well as a light receiving element 10 and a light emitting element 12 are respectively fixed in the state of aligning the respective optical axes. Grooves 13 are provided on both sides of the body part and projections 14 are provided on the outside connector side and the sizes are respectively changed on the right and left to prevent the reverse insertion at the time of fitting the body side and the external connector side. The body and external connector in the fitted state constitute a magnetic circuit by the body side metallic plate 15, the external connector side metallic plate 16 and the magnet 17 and both are fixed by magnetic force. The body and the external connector are fixed by the magnetic force in the connected state. To disconnect both, the operator holds the external connector and pulls the same and the connector is disconnected from the body. |
