The invention relates to the field of motor vehicle technology. The aim of the invention is to be able to securely support tiltable driver's cabs not only in the maximum tilting region but also at small tilting angles. The objective of the invention is a safety support which permits tiltable driver's cabs to be supported at small tilting angles and at the same time complies with the ECE requirements. The essential feature of the invention consists in the fact that in a bending support, known per se, on the mounting grid bolt a support element which is provided at one end with a support web and a grip element and has a step and a nose at the other end is arranged so as to rotate counter to a compression spring. On the frame-side leg of the support there is a profile in whose free space the front edge of the support web lies when supported. The field of application of the invention is tiltable driver's cabs on utility vehicles.
