发明名称 METAL VAPOR LASER DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To extend the utilization time of metal by mounting setting collectors in the both end parts of a discharge tube so that a setted liquid-like metal can be fitted to an angle, along which the above metal flows into the center of the discharge tube. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of copper particles 20 are placed inside of a discharge tube 1. The inside of the discharge tube 1 attains a temperature of around 1500 deg.C because of electric discharge and is filled with copper vapor that is produced by vaporization of the particles 20 and has a pressure that is enough to make laser oscillations. In other words, copper atoms are hitted and excited with atoms developed by discharge to make the laser oscillations. As copper vapor is in a state of a low temperature at the both sides, it condenses into liquefied copper in the process of setting collectors 15a and 15b. Since the setting collectors 15a and 15b that are in a state where the discharge tube 1 is placed horizontally have an inclination to the bottom face of discharge tube 1 with support legs 16a and 16b, the liquefied copper flowing from the setting collectors 15a and 15b moves to a central part of the discharge tube 1 and repeats continuously a recycling process of vaporization. This approach helps continue the above process without supplementing metal or performing cleaning works for a very long time.
