PURPOSE:To increase the vibration suppressing effect by filling the gap between the inside wall of a casing and in inertia body with the high viscous liquid which possesses viscoelasticity and making the characteristic frequency ratio of a damper system for the frequency of a crankshaft system to the value larger than 0.75 and smaller than 1.0. CONSTITUTION:The vibration suppressing characteristic as a viscous damper can be obtained and the device can be made small-sized by filling the part between a casing 2 and an inertia body 3 with the high viscous silicone oil, etc. as the viscous liquid 4. The characteristic frequency ratio of the damper 1 can be set in the range of 0.75-1.0 or so by the elastic effect of the viscoelastic damper, and the vibration suppressing effect can be increased by making the damping coefficient of 0.2-0.45. Further, since the selection width of the viscosity of the viscous liquid can be set relatively wide, each freedom in designing the shape and structure of the damper 1 is made large, and the heat radiation performance of the damper can be improved, and durability of the damper 1 can be improved. Further, when silicone oil is used, the vibration suppressing effect in the high environment can be obtained because of the heat resistance. |
