PURPOSE:To make it possible to constitute a cheap, lightweight and highly reliable copying machine, by detecting the output of a paper discharge sensor with a certain delay from the time when a paper feed sensor delivers a signal B to discriminate the supply of paper and an abnormal posture. CONSTITUTION:The output of a paper discharge sensor 2 is detected with a certain delay from the time when a paper feed sensor 2 delivers a signal B indicating the presence of paper in association with paper feed. If the output of the paper discharge sensor 5 is D, it is judged that the posture of the body is abnormal so that the operation is inhibited. Meanwhile if the output of the paper discharge sensor 5 is C, a microcomputer 10 controls the copying machine to perform copying operation. Accordingly, while the hard arrangement is conventional having such an arrangement that the paper feed sensor 2 and the paper discharge sensor 5 are connected to the microcomputer 10, the posture of the body is detected by program control, thereby it is possible to constitute a cheap, lightweight and highly reliable copying machine. |
