A method for novel waterproof agent (WA) comprises (i) mixing oleinic acid 300ml and emulsified-paraffin 50ml, (ii) adding MeOH 100ml, NH4OH 60ml, poly vinyl alchol (PVA) aq. soln. 30ml and carboxy methyl chloride (CMC) 3g in a sum to produce paraffin oleinate ester ammonium and (iii) adding satd. sodium phosphate soln. 30ml. WA is used after diluting in 75-100times water. Tests for novel WA (WA; water=1:50) by KSF2451 are as follow; setting time=250mins, 6hrs 50mins, stability (boiling test)= stable, rate of compression strength after 1 week, 4 weeks=61%, 73% respectively, absorbing rate (fall into the water, 5hrs)=0.35.
