<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title ink which gives a hot-melt ink layer having excellent rub resistance, by using as its constituents a pigment or a dye, a wax, and a specified hot-melt resin. CONSTITUTION:An emulsified hot-melt resin (A) having a lowest film-forming temperature of 40 deg.C or higher is obtained by the emulsion polymerization, in an aqueous medium, of at least one monomer selected from among an acrylic monomer, a vinyl ester, a vinyl halide, a vinylidene halide, acrylonitrile, isoprene, chloroprene, butadiene, isobutylene, and styrene. Component A is mixed with a pigment or dye (B) and a wax (C) to give a hot-melt ink. This ink is applied to one side of a sheet base material 12 comprising, e.g., a polyester film to provided a coating weight of about 4g/m<2> and dried at a temperature lower than its lowest film-forming temperature to form a hot-melt ink layer 14.</p> |
