PURPOSE:To reduce the generation of noise, by a method wherein a retainer, located between the back of a revolving scroll and a block and adapted to hold plural balls carrying a thrust force, is situated so that it is movable together with the balls in response to movement of the revolving scroll. CONSTITUTION:A compression machine body 7, contained in a closed casing 1 and driven by an electric motor part 2, has a fixed scroll 4 and a revolving scroll 5, engaged with each other and having involuteform laps 4b and 4b stand ing upright on end plates 4a and 5a and formed integrally with each other. In this case, plural balls 15a-15x are located between the back on the antilap side of the end plate 5a of the revolving scroll 5 and a block 3. The balls are retained by a retainer 16 having plural holes 16a 16x so that it is moved in synchronism with revolving movement of the revolving scroll 5. Guide bodies 21a-21x, formed with plural pins, are situated on the inner peripheral side of the retainer 16. |
