PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable bending fixture capable of preventing a flat cable in the vicinity of a connector housing from freely moving with respect to the connector housing. SOLUTION: This flat cable bending fixture is provided with: a retainer 10 inserted into the connector housing used for the connection of the flat cable 3; a protective plate 11 formed integrally with the base part of the retainer 10 and having a bending part 11a for bending the flat cable 3 at a part of its outer edge; a holding body 12 for fixing the flat cable 3 folded from one-side surface to the other-side surface 11c of the protective plate 11 with the bending part 11a to the protective plate 11 by holding it along with the other-side surface 11c of the protective plate 11; and a fixture 13 formed in the vicinity of the base part of the retainer 10 for fixing the retainer 10 and the protective plate 11 to the connector housing.
