摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve two major technical problems to reduce exhaust gas amount emitted from an engine and to activate a catalyst as quick as possible, for coping with tight control on exhaust emission in these days proposed all over the world mainly in USA from the view point of environment conservation. SOLUTION: The electronic control fuel injection system for an internal combustion engine comprises: a port fuel injection valves disposed near an intake port of each cylinder; a fuel injection valve disposed to an intake passage disposed upstream of the port fuel injection valve; a device that has a heater or the like, is disposed to the intake passage disposed upstream of the port fuel injection valve, and gasifies fuel injected from the fuel injection valve. The fuel injection system further comprises: an ignition timing retard means for increasing an exhaust gas temperature; and an individual cylinder air-fuel ratio control means for controlling an air-fuel ratio of a specific cylinder to be rich or lean.
