MAKING METHOD OF FERTILISERS

The double coatings of fertilizers (FZ) are made up of (i) 1st layer coating : 1-10 wt.% of silicates i.e. Na, Li, Etsilicate to 100wt.% FZ and (ii) 2nd layer coating: 1-10 wt.% of high mol. latexes i.e. natural latex, stylene-butadien copolymer latex to 100wt.% 1st layered FZ. Silicate aq. soln. (25-30 wt.%) is coated onto FZ at the supply rate (SR) of 2-20 ml/min with supply nozzle pressure (SNP) of 0.2-5 kg/cm2 and hot blast (HB) of 20-100 deg.C to 500kg of FZ. High mol. latex aq. soln. (10-15 wt.%) is coated onto 1st layer at half the SR of silicate with SNP of 0.1kg/cm2 and HB of 20-60 deg.C.
