Cylinder lock comprising a rotor 1 fitted with a rotor snout 2 and revolving in a stator 3 as well as an actuator 8 for the lock bolt or web intended to be rotationally driven by the said rotor snout 2, characterised by the fact that the said drive is provided by a means of a solid and substantially cylindrical locking device 10 interposed with specified axial clearance between the rotor snout 2 and the actuator 8 by virtue of a rotational coupling without an axial component provided between the rotor snout 2 and the locking device 10, as well as another rotational coupling without an axial component provided between this locking device and the driver 8, this locking device comprising, on the side facing the coverlet 7 of the lock, suitable toothing 11 interacting with openings 13 of the coverlet to rotationally lock the locking device 10 when the latter is displaced axially in the direction of the coverlet by means of the said axial clearance, whilst a return spring 16 normally returns the locking device 10 to a rest position such that the said toothing 11 of the locking device 10 is no longer engaged in the said orifices 13 of the coverlet 7. <IMAGE>
