发明名称 THERMAL TRANSFER RECORDING MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable formation of a high density image having excellent gradation even onto a plain paper having low smoothness, by containing a specific ratio of oil in a thermally fusible ink layer formed on a supporting material. CONSTITUTION:A thermally fusible ink layer containing oil having low compatibility with a resin component, a thermally fusible substance which is in solid state at normal temperature and a coloring agent is provided in a micro porous resin construction formed on a supporting material. When the quantity of oil increases which serves as auxiliary for forming porosity, the hole diameter of porous resin increases to increase the transferring quantity of ink, thus the viscosity during thermal fusion is lowered. Consequently, the thermally fusible ink moves easily to projecting or recessed portions on paper and permeats well into the paper so as to provide an excellent recording on coarse paper. Excellent recording can not be obtained when the content of oil is 20% or less, while the resolution of a recorded image degrades and greasing occurs when the content of oil exceeds over 50%. Consequently, the content of oil in the range of 20-50wt% is employed preferably.
