<p>PURPOSE:To stop a tape better by braking a pair of reels by a braking mechanism after starting the release of the action for the tape-shaped recording medium of a transfer mechanism in case of transferring the state of the device to the mode to stop the running of a tape. CONSTITUTION:In case of the transfer from a reproducing state to stoppage state, the release of the press-contact to a capstan 55 of a pinching roller 56 is started by a cam 17h, when a mode lever 17 arrives at the position coming near a little to the left side from the play position. With further movement of the mode lever 17 to the left side, the rotation of the main brakes 67S, 67T is then started but the press-contact force of the capstan 55 and pinching roller 56 is slightly weakened at this time. And with further movement of the mode lever 17 to the left side, the main brakes 67S, 67T completely stop both reel bases 18S, 18T. On the other hand the press-contact force of the capstan 55 and pinching roller 56 is reduced this time and a good mode transfer can be performed without causing any loosing on the tape nor the tape tension becoming larger abnormally.</p> |
