PURPOSE:To produce a foam decorative material having high grade feeling, by forming a vinyl chloride resin layer containing a foaming agent on a substrate, printing a primary pattern on the surface of the layer with a coating material containing a foaming inhibitor, then printing a secondary pattern with a coating material containing a foaming agent and foaming the layers containing the foaming agent. CONSTITUTION:A vinyl chloride resin paste is applied to a surface of a substrate 10 and the substrate is heated at >=70 deg.C and below decomposition temperature of foaming agent to form a resin layer 11 or said resin containing a foaming agent is formed into firm by a calendering method, the resultant film is laminated to the substrate 10 and then a coating material for synthetic resin containing a form inhibitor (benzotriazol, etc.) is printed on the resin layer 11 by gravure printing method to form a primary pattern 12. Then, a coating material containing vinyl chloride resin containing a foaming agent and a plasticizer is thickly printed to form a secondary pattern 13 and the printed resin layer is heated above decomposition temperature of the foaming agent in order to foam the resin layer 11 and the secondary pattern 13 to provide a foam decorative material having relievo or intaglio pattern. |
