PURPOSE:To obtain a transfer sheet and recorded images with high fixability and high sensitivity, by using a resin A and a resin B as components of a binder, using a resin having a melt visicosity of not more than a predetermined value which is obtained by modification of at least one of specified resins as the resin A, and using at least one of specified resins as the resin B, in a thermal recording method in which recording is performed by releasing a transfer-type thermal sheet and a recording medium from each other. CONSTITUTION:A transfer-type thermal sheet 7 provided with a coloring material layer 6 comprising a binder 4 comprising a resin A2 and a resin B3 and a coloring matter 5 on one side of a base 1 and a recording medium 9 provided with a fixing layer 8 by coating are used. The sheet 7 and the image-receiving material 9 are set between a heat source 10 and a platen 11. The resin A2 is a resin having a melt viscosity of 100 deg.C of not more than 300cP which is obtained by modifying at least one of a styrene-acryl copopolymer resin, a styrene-methacryl copolymer resin, an acrylic resin, a methacrylic resin, an unsaturated carboxylic acid resin and an unsaturated carboxylic acid ester resin. The resin B3 is at least one of a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer resin and a vinyl acetate resin. By this, a transfer sheet and recorded images can be obtained with high fixability. |
