PURPOSE:To obtain a bending die that restrains generation of crease and sliding flaw of a section at the time of bending by forming the inner width of a groove provided on a bending face nearly equal to a thickness of a tip of flange of the section to be inserted. CONSTITUTION:In a bending die 6 in which a flange 3 of a section 1 consisting of a web 2 and the flange 3 is inserted into a groove 7 formed on the bending face of the bending die 6, and the flange side of the section 1 is bent inward, the width of the groove 7 is made t'' which is wider than plate width of the flange 3 at inlet side 7a having depth of h1. Thus, insertion of the flange 3 is made easy even when there is dispersion in the size of web 2 etc. of the section. At the same time, the width is made t''' which is nearly equal to plate thickness of the flange 3 at inner side 7b having depth of h2. Thus, the tip of the flange 3 is restrained, generation of sliding flaw and crease is prevented and yield of the work is increased. |
