PURPOSE:To enable high position accuracy to be obtained, by providing a tool bed, which removably further rotatably mounts a subcutting edge to the upper, and a positioning stopper, continued to the subcutting edge, so as to easily adjust its position. CONSTITUTION:A grinding wheel head 3 is vertically slided by rotating a life mechanism 4, and a depth of cut by a grinding wheel 10 is left as set to about 0.01mm. Next, a face milling cutter 22 is mounted to a tool bed 13 being rotated in a direction R, and a face 27a of a cutting edge tip is adapted to a lever 29. Under this condition, a subcutting edge 27b is positioned in parallel with directions A, B, further a flank, continued to the subcutting edge 27b, is positioned in parallel with a bottom end surface 10a of the grinding wheel 10. Next in a condition that the grinding wheel 10 is rotated, the tool bed 13 is slided in the direction A by turning a handle 24 in a direction P. Here if the milling cutter 22 is retained by hand so that the cutter makes no rotation, the subcutting edge 27b of the cutting edge tip 27 reaches a bottom end surface 10a of the wheel, and the flank, continued to the subcutting edge 27b, is ground. |
