PURPOSE:To maintain a specified spacing between substrates with good accuracy by forming granular members in such a manner that the specific gravity thereof is within the range of 0.9-1.3 times the specific gravity of an adhesive agent. CONSTITUTION:A hollow part 5 is formed of the substrates 1a and 1b and the hollow part 5 is held at the specified spacing by spacers 3 and 4. This optical recording medium is formed by coating the adhesive agent dispersed therein with the granular members 6 on either of the substrates, then superposing the other substrate thereon, curing the adhesive agent and forming the adhesive layers 3, 4 in common use as the spacers. the granular members 6 to be used here are so formed that the specific gravity thereof is in the range of 0.9-1.3 times the specific gravity of the adhesive agent. The optical recording disk of the hollow construction having the uniform thickness of the adhesive layers between the substrates and always uniform quality is thus continuously produced without troubles. |
