<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture a building board, prominent in fire retardant properties and insulation characteristics, by a method wherein a surface member is conveyed by a conveyer and a foaming material as well as an inorganic material are supplied separately to the surface member to form a foamed body layer mixed with the inorganic material. CONSTITUTION:A surface member such as a vinylchloride resin sheet, an aluminum sheet or the like, which is reeled by a reeling roll 10, is unwound between the guides of a conveyer 1 to convey it. The surface member 2 is provided with a groove 14 and a tongue 15 on both lengthwise sides and a foaming material 3, such as phenol resin containing foaming agent, is supplied between the groove 14 and the tongue 15. Next, an inorganic material 4 is supplied from an inorganic material supplier 11. The inorganic material is heated by a heater 11a to the temperature of 40-60 deg.C, therefore, the foaming material 3 is foamed when it is contacted with the inorganic material 4 and a foamed body layer 5 is formed so as to surround the inorganic material 4. Thereafter, a backup sheet 17 is pressed against the foamed body layer 5 for bonding. According to this method, the thickness of the foamed body layer may be secured sufficiently, the foamed body layer may be provided with insulation characteristics and the fire retardant properties of the title building board may be improved.</p> |
