The present invention relates to a device for positioning a hoop-casing. This device comprises a rotary drum 10 carrying at least one hoop-casing 11 and a pusher 12 designed for pressing this previously pasted hoop-casing onto the lateral surface 13 of a cylindrical box 14. Two pieces 15 are designed to bear on the plane surfaces of the lid 16 and of the base 17 of the box 14. The pusher 12 is actuated by a stationary cam 21 on which a follower roller 22 bears. This device is used for gluing on hoop-casings for linking the base and the lid of a box of triangular portions of processed cheese. <IMAGE>
