PURPOSE:To uniform a temperature distribution in the direction of the rotating shaft of a photosensitive body by discharging air partially and principally at a high- temperature side when there is a temperature difference generated between both ends of the photosensitive body in the direction of the rotating shaft. CONSTITUTION:Control equipment relative parts B and a copying machine driving motor M generate heat during copying operation, the side of the motor M of the photosensitive body 4 becomes higher in temperature than the equipment relative parts B, and a sensor S1 detects higher temperature than a sensor S2, so that a control mechanism 28 for discharge configuration switching produces a 1st air discharge configuration X. Consequently, air nearby the motor M is discharged to cool the motor M of the photosensitive body 4 principally. In copy stand-by mode, the equipment relative parts B are generating heat, the side B becomes higher in temperature than the side M, and the sensor S2 detects higher temperature than the sensor S1, so that a 2nd air discharge configuration Y is produced. Consequently, the air nearby the equipment relative parts B is discharged to cool the side B of the photosensitive body 4 principally. Thus, the temperature distribution of the photosensitive body 4 in the direction of the rotating shaft is uniformed to take a copy of homogeneous picture quality. |
