PURPOSE:To permit the exact positioning of thermal head by attaching a thermal head to the recorder body through a position regulating mechanism in relation to the path of a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A thermal head 7 is fixed by two holders 167 provided on both ends and the holder 167 are connected with a block part 173 positioned and fixed to the lower frame 99 of a recorder through two fixing screws 167 and two regulating screws 171 provided with a compressive spring 175. When the screw 169 is loosened, the holders 167 are supported by two compressive springs 175 engaged with the screw 171. By turning a total of four regulating screws 171, the height and inclination of the thermal head 7 can be adjusted. After the ending of position regulation of the head 7, four fixing screws 169 are clamped to fix the holders 167 to the block 173. The thermal head 7 can thus be exactly positioned. |
