This device is formed by two clamps 102 which are each mounted on a first end 103a of a lever 103, the two levers 103 being hinged together so that moving their other ends 103b towards each other causes their first ends 103a to separate. This clamp 102 is hinged on the end 103a of the associated lever 103 by means of a pin 115, and this pin 115 is capable of moving in a hole delimited between the rear portions of the upper 105 and lower 106 jaws of the clamp, behind the hinge pin 107 of these jaws 105, 106, so as to close the clamp 102. The pin 115 and the opening 114 firstly enable the clamps 102 to be locked in the closed position and then for them to be moved apart, one in relation to the other, when the levers 103 are actuated so as to carry out this separation. <IMAGE>
