PURPOSE:To enable the adhesion of a lettering piece to an appropriate position of the surface of habiliments made of silicone rubber reliably and effectively, by a method wherein the lettering piece to the backside of which unvulcanized silicone rubber has been printed is put on the said habiliments and then pressure and heat are applied to them with an iron. CONSTITUTION:A bathing cap 1, for example, made of silicone rubber is arranged on an ironing board 5 and a lettering piece 3 is put on an appropriate position of the surface of the same. Then the bottom 4a of an iron 4 heated at 160-200 deg.C is applied to the lettering piece 3 and presses the same strongly with a hand. Then along with vulcanization or unvulcanized silicone rubber 2 printed on the backside of the lettering piece 3, the lettering piece 3 is pressed against the bathing cap 1 and then when the same is cooled, a bathing cap A wherein the lettering piece 3 has been stuck firmly to the appropriate position of the surface can be obtained. A cloth piece obtained by cutting cloth into a predetermined form is used for the lettering piece 3 and the silicone rubber 2 which is of the same quality as silicone rubber of a material of the bathing cap 1 is printed on the backside of the lettering piece 3 by making use of a roller. |
