PURPOSE:To easily produce a large amount of white tangle having high quality and useful for the topping of SUSHI (vinegared rice) or decoration, etc., at a low cost, by moistening raw tangle with water or vinegar, sealing the tangle in a specific light-transmitting container and irradiating with light. CONSTITUTION:A dried black or brown raw tangle 3 is immersed in water or vinegar 1 in a tank 2 e.g. for about 30min to effect the sufficient moistening of the tangle. The moistened tangle 3 is put into a wholly or partly light- transmittant container 4 (e.g. colorless vinyl bag) and the opening of the bag is sealed to keep the moistened state. The tangle in the bag is left under light 5 (e.g. sunlight) e.g. for about 1hr (about 5hr in the case of clouded weather) to effect the bleaching of the tangle 3. |
