Instead of an S interface, a power-fed digital telephone terminal (CTE-T) is provided which is directly connected to the two-wire subscriber line (Z-TL) and contains a full-duplex transmission device for a two-wire bus (Z-DB) to which the remaining terminals (TG, DT) are connected.
