A radial piston pump is provided with a camshaft (2) fixed in a housing (3); a rotor (4) is mounted on the camshaft such that it can rotate. This rotor has radial holes (5) in which pistons (7, 8), whose outward-facing ends are supported by a cam ring (12) arranged eccentrically to the camshaft (2), are arranged. It also has pressure and suction lines in the camshaft (2). In order to achieve reduced static and dynamic pressure loss in the pneumatic lines, at least one pressure and/or suction line is to be formed by at least one groove (15, 16, 17) formed on the circumference of the camshaft and open on the radially outer side, which runs essentially parallel to the axis of the camshaft (2) and ends in an annular chamber (12) arranged coaxially to the camshaft (2). <IMAGE>
