PURPOSE:To simplify charging work by hanging the terminals of the positive and negative electrodes of an enclosed lead storage battery the bent terminals on the corresponding electrode bars respectively soas to suspend the enclosed lead storage battery so that the terminals and the electrode bars maybe brought into contact with each other by the own weight of the cell. CONSTITUTION:One end of a positive electrode bar 3 is fixed to a positive main electrode 1 in an electrically conductive and its other end is fixed to a negative main electrode 2 through an insulator 5, with a negative electrode bar 4 being fixed in parallel with the positive electrode bar 3 and in an inversed state. During the process of charging, positive terminals 6 out of the bent terminals (tab terminals) of an enclosed lead storage battery 8 are jung on the positive electrode bar 3 and negative electrode terminals are jung on the negative electrode bar 4 to be suspended respectively so that the terminals may be brought in contact with the electrode bays by the own weight of the enclosed lead storage battery 8 for conducting a charging current from the electrode bars. Thereby, connection of a receptacle and a clip becomes needless thus to shorten time required for connection. |
